MarchFourth Marching Band is tickled to present our good friends The Mutaytor at Bossanova on June 6, 2008. This energetic double-header brings together the Los Angeles-based Burning Man institution, The Mutaytor, and Portland’s premiere big-band party machine, MarchFourth. Bring your dancing shoes, ‘cause this one’s gonna rock! The Mutaytor is known for incorporating fire performers, duelling electronic DJ’s, tesla coils, stiltwalkers, a 6-person percussion ensemble playing 50 green drums, or interactive dancers and hoop performers, depending on the night. There’s no predicting what kind of mayhem could ensue when these two groups get together. (Last year’s Lightning in a Bottle Festival featured both bands in a Lionel Richie singalong: “All Night Wrong.” Uh...maybe you had to be there.)

Tickets are available through www.brownpapertickets.com. This is a must see double bill show that promises to be fun, entertaining and booty shaking. Mutaytor is filled with veteran performers and are quite the spectacle.

Look for MarchFourth on the road at Festival International in Lafayette, LA, NOLA as well as festivals and club dates throughout the west this spring and summer.

As usual M4 is busy working on new material and preparing for several short spring and summer tours on the west coast so keep checking for updates.

CD UPDATES:
NEW CD AVAILABLE / SNOCAP

MARCHFOUTH LIVE is finally out. The CD features 12 songs recorded over the past year at various venues. It is our second full lenght CD and has some of our favorite songs on it. Available online at CD Baby.

Our second full-length studio CD, tentatively titled "Rise Up," is also scheduled for an end-of-year release. Both CDs will feature songs previously unavailable. In addition to new music releases we are hoping to finish our long-awaited DVD in early 2008.

You can now buy M4 downloads on our Audio page and the M4MB myspace via SNOCAP music service. Currenty songs from our self titled and Live are available but we plan to add songs from the upcoming CDs as well as other unreleased and unavailable songs, so keep checking for additions.

MarchFourth's 52-day fall 2007tour route with more than 40+ shows that began on Sept 10. Thanks to everyone who has come out and supported M4, back home and across the US, helping us take this thing on the road.

Much Love and Thanks to all the family and friends that have been letting us air our dirty socks on your clothes lines, dry camping gear on your fences, rest our weary heads on your porches, couches, floors.... And most importantly park a giant bus in front of your homes. A hot meal, a dozen pots of coffee, great conversation and a recycle bin full of empty beer bottles is an amazing thing 2,000 miles from home. With out you this would not have been possible. May we one day thank you with 30+ couches to surf in Portland.
